So, there have been a couple of changes to faith shields. Most of these are cosmetic, one is functional.

The functional change is the major shield now counts as "outer" armour. This means it protects you before your clothes and other worn things and these will therefore get less damaged than before.

Twisted vine rings (obtainable through the witch spell Gammer Shorga's Clever Creeper) have been given some fertiliser.

Their resultantly lengthier tendrils can now reach from underneath gloves and other hand coverings to form the shapes of keys they have been taught to remember.

The fertiliser also appears to have improved their memories.

Bugs related to a player or npc's description showing up as "fighting" despite the thing they're fighting not being visible to them (ie. hiding in the same room) should now be fixed.

NPCs giving fighting chats when the thing they're fighting is in the same room but not visible to them should also now be fixed.

Recent changes to fix a bug in the "get" command had the consequence that people using a corpse as part of the unquiet spirit and withering touch rituals, the feeding of creeping doom clouds, and the wizard spell Grisald's Reanimated Guardian, could get hit by all the wards on that corpse.

This should no longer be the case but with the downside that the warded items will disappear into non being.

I've fixed a bug in hoplites and citadel guards where they'd speak to you even if they couldn't actually see you.

I have tweaked the alignment values for nobleman groups in Bes Pelargic to be less extreme.

You may therefore find maintaining your alignment when fighting these specific NPCs easier :)

You can now refer to a Fyodor's Nimbus of Porterage cloud as "nimbus" and "carrier". Things like "look at my nimbus" or "look at my carrier cloud" will now work.

N.B. Any clouds summoned before this blog will not have been updated.

There is now an option (options combat attack_on_theft =on/off) that lets you automatically attack when someone tries to steal from you.

This means that you can use this option to automatically attack when something fails to steal/filch from you. The option will make you always attack someone who snatches (whether or not they succeed).

There is one new variant of each weapon that Bending Reed offers.
