Description
Arcane transport NPCs potentially come in a variety of shapes and sizes, depending upon where they are found.
They are generally based in a single location - ordinarily a shop or other room - and allow you to travel to a limited number of destinations all around the Discworld.
Precisely where you can travel depends upon the NPC you are attempting to use. There will be a number of "international" destinations, for instance if you are in Ohulan-Cutash you might be able to travel to Ankh-Morpork and Djelibeybi.
There might also be "local" destinations that are located in the same sort of area as the NPC you are attempting to use. These might include, if you are currently in Ankh-Morpork, the Shades or each of the city gates.
The price of travel to a international destination is fixed at the local equivalent of A$20. Travel to a local destination will cost you the local equivalent of A$10.
Players under a certain age can travel internationally for the local equivalent of A$10, or A$5 for local travel.
Language skills are required, and you must also be speaking the correct language when you try to interact with him.
How to use them
You get the NPCs' help using a series of commands: "list", "travel", and "cancel".
Example
> list
You ask the elderly wizard about his list of destinations.
The elderly wizard says: I can transport you to the Mended Drum in Ankh-Morpork, the bazaar in Djelibeybi and Middle Bridge in Bes Pelargic.
> travel to the drum
You ask the elderly wizard about travelling to the Mended Drum in Ankh-Morpork.
The elderly wizard says to you: I'll just be a couple of moments preparing.
> cancel
You ask about cancelling your transportation.
The elderly wizard says to you: Are you sure you want to cancel? You don't get a refund, you know.
> yes
The elderly wizard says in Morporkian with a Morporkian accent: Fine. I will cancel your travel plans.
