The spells Journey of the Heavenly Storm Dragon and Nargl'frob's Empyrean Spear have now been changed to use the same method of held item checking and now both spells will backfire if any metal item is held (this includes items that are not weapons and items that are not pointy).
Since some metal items may not respond to the adjective "metal" we recommend that you "unhold held things" before casting to avoid potentially fatal backfires.
