(Answer) (Category) Discworld Faq-O-Matic : (Category) The Rules and How to Avoid Breaking Them :
I'm trying to get TM's, can I write an alias to do it over and over so I don't have to type it?
It is against the rules for your character to perform actions while you are not at your computer (see help rules). Although aliases can only work if you are there initially to start them, they allow you to leave your computer while still performing the actions. Therefore, you should limit the length of your aliases.

In general, you should limit the length of your aliases so that if a creator talks to you, you can respond within a minute.

We know it can be boring, but this is an ideal time to start talking and interacting with the other players of the game!
