How can I make coloured text in my finger info or tells?
Colouring text is a bit more advanced than what you've seen thus far in this FAQ.

When you finger people, you will sometimes notice that they have curious colours throughout their plans and projects. Colours are created by using a special series of characters, these are % and ^.

For example, if I wanted my project to say, in bright red, 'Eat Lots of Sausages!', I would use the command:

alias .project %^BOLD%^RED%^Eat Lots of Sausages!%^RESET%^ The '%^RESET%^' tells the MUD to stop using the colour %^BOLD%^RED%^. This is so a person's screen isn't filled with yucky bold red spam.

The available colours to use via this syntax are the generic ANSI code colours:

The Plain Colours:

red
magenta
orange
yellow
green
blue
cyan
(white)
black

Some Exciting Extras:

b_red
b_blue yellow
cyan bold
red flash
red underline
