(Answer) (Category) Discworld Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Finding Help :
Noone is answering me on newbie, who else can I ask?
There is truly a plethora of help available to the new player on Discworld.

You should ask those people listed under the helpers command to begin with - these are players who have been selected due to their overall playing experience to help newbies in an official capacity. They are known as newbiehelpers, and are always happy to answer your questions.

If your problems stretch a little further than the newbie channel, for example, if you encounter a strange error in the game, or are not sure about the rules on Discworld, you should give a liaison a tell. If there are no newbiehelpers online, also feel free to speak to a liaison. You can see which liaisons are online, by using the the liaisons command.

If you have a talker, you should also try asking on your guild channel about any guild-specific questions. For example, 'What skills do I need to learn the 'remember' command?'. The wizards will know best how to answer this question - and not all wizards listen to the newbie channel. Asking on the wizards channel of your talker will produce far better results.
