Some more updates for the Genua trainable pets:

- They now do an emote (about wanting to go on an adventure) when they send a follow request to someone. This should make it easier for their owners to see what's going on and hence to praise or punish them as preferred.

- The monkeys can now be trained to "equip" and "unequip", thus allowing them to wear and remove human clothing as well as pet clothing. (This was kinda-sorta implemented already, but wasn't working properly.) You can still simpl...

Being at the turn of the year, our most recent Bugfix Weekend focused on a guild concerned heavily with endings - assassins! Here's what we did.

* Fingering an assassin will now show if they hold a position within their spec.

* Inhumation books/scrolls/rolls can now be viewed with the contracts sorted by price (ascending/descending) as well as by name.

* Something at the Mano Rossa mansion that was not previously climbable has now been made climbable (and also something-else-able).

* Monsieur G...

Several changes have been made to the Genua trainable pets:

- They can no longer be put into backpacks, vaults, etc.

- They can no longer be picked up by anyone other than their owner.

- They now show an indication of their mood when you look at them.

- They now respond to many more souls than they used to.

- They no longer consider the splash ritual to be a punishment unless it's performed on them specifically.

- They no longer require you to omit punctuation for them to understand a command (e...

Anticipating an influx of Holiday weddings the Guild of Fools and Joculators have revamped their Chapel of Fun. Brother Whopply has been subjected to all the puns from the talker during the last couple of months whilst being beaten with an assortment of bladders and has agreed to perform marriages if only he doesn't have to listen to any more puns.

Furniture has been rearranged, ancient artifacts have been restored and they've even put fresh hay down on the floor. Head on over (with or witho...

* A bug with the squirming black tentacle has been fixed. You can no longer hold this with any of your limbs (even the normal ones) when under the effects of Booch's Extremal Polymorphism. On the bright side, this means that your tentacle will no longer be eaten by a silent runtime error.

* Playerhouse rooms can now have up to six different types of decoration on the surfaces (floor, ceiling, walls) before the description gets collapsed into "X are multicoloured". (If you have a room that stil...

* You can now drag things underwater.

* Knocking other people's pets off the DJB walls is now properly PK-checked.

* A small number of chicken feathers can now be picked up from among those littering Staff Sergeant Grout Ilbilee's "office" in Lancre.

* Master Gildworthy has been persuaded to tidy up and label his stock better. A stack labelled e.g. "A six-foot riving of birch" will now be birch all the way down, until his assistant changes the stock around.

* In other woodworking news, gingko ri...

A bug in the baby kraken pet has been fixed, and so interactions between these pets and other wearable pets will now work more consistently. Specifically, wearable pets are intended to attack each other when you wear more than one of them. Before the bug was fixed, you could stop this from happening by wearing the other pet first and the baby kraken second. This inconsistency has been removed, and so the attack will now happen regardless of the order you wear them in.

* Title changers now have a "check" command which will show you your current title with the colour codes.

* Water buffalo no longer spawn in the rainforest; gaurs spawn instead. Water buffalo are still available in the appropriate habitat.

* Flatulus and Aegadon have finally consented to be (respectfully) fingered.

* Alethelegeios now sells talkers in a much more obvious way.

* Benches in Ephebe no longer hide items placed on them.

* Tortoises will now accept gifts of lettuce.

* The clock i...

* A small bug has been fixed in the SS Unsinkable's dragons, which will affect people with very low skills. There was meant to be a skillcheck to see whether you could see any information at all about a dragon's status, but the bug meant that this skillcheck was always succeeding. Wranglers without the skill to pass this check will no longer be able to see the abovementioned information.

* Relatedly, a new command - "check <dragon> [status]" has been added to the dragons to let wranglers see th...
