The Fang family in Bes Pelargic have made a number of improvements to their counterfeiting facilities in the hope of attracting some extra revenue from their friends and associates.

There are numerous changes to how the forgery process works, the most significant of which are as follows:

- Access to the forgery facilities is no longer limited to just thieves, although you must still be a member of the Fang Family.

- The types of skills required have not changed, but the level of skill...

Stephan, the resident furrier of Mad Wolf, has finally had enough practice at working with hubland bear fur to be able to use it far more efficiently. The quantities of tanned fur he requires for trimming clothes have been reduced, and several items now require an amount of fur that is more proportional to their size.

Fixed a bug allowing horses to temporarily carry infinite amounts of weight. There is now a soft cap of 100% burden where you won't be able to put any more items on and a hard cap of 150% burden which can't be exceeded.

Fixed a bug that was making the item limit on pack saddles not work. Previously, you could put more than 10 items on the pack saddle but the horse would fumble the extra; now you just can't put any more on when you reach 10.

Fixed a bug that allowed putting continuous items li...

There have been several changes to how foraging for truffles works.

The main change is that truffles are now much easier to find. While the minimum skills to get started haven't changed, anything above that should result in a greater amount of more valuable truffles from your foraging expeditions.

The other changes are more cosmetic in nature:

1) Not every deciduous forest room will have truffles, but the ones that do will have much more than before.

2) In order not to waste time wit...

After seeing the excitement around the recent Lunar New Year celebrations, the calligrapher on Diamond Place in Bes Pelargic has decided to start selling lucky red envelopes. Have a read of the sign in his shop for more details.

Decorative embroidery is now visible when looking at items in the inventories of other players or NPCs (please note, this does not apply to text-only embroidery, which remains unreadable in line with other written-on items).

After a thorough reprimanding from the U...

The value of items made through woodworking has been increased! They do, however, have to be completed in order to reach their monetary potential.

Updating the values of items made prior to this change will require some more code updates, so please be patient while we work on that.

In celebration of the recent Lunar New Year, the authorities, citizens and underworld denizens of Bes Pelargic have been doing some soul-searching and self-improvement. Lots of minor things have been fixed here and there, but here's a summary of the ones that you are most likely to notice:

- The plants sold at the Phoenix Avenue plant shop are now placeable as furniture, and have also been made lighter to allow you to put them on tables if that suits your aesthetic better.

- One Tender Tulip...

Yesterday's fix to the Gods Truffler achievement unclogged a small logjam of cosmetic changes:

- the truffle hunters in Ramtops terrains are now more responsive when truffles and truffle pigs are involved.

- the bird watchers in Ramtops terrains now carry a pencil and a notepad in order to make notes about their experience.

- a few new souls were added, letting you nerf, sglance, cluck and chitter. Keep an eye out for "gag" as well.

The gods atop Cori Celesti had grown peckish and came knocking on The Lady's door wondering why the pantry was empty. An audit of her books discovered she'd fudged the dice which govern the probability of mortals stumbling upon the fabled truffle of the Gods -- it was about 1 in 12 duovigintillions.

That is a big number. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-boggingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long shot to win the lottery, but that's just peanuts to a duovigintillion...

I've fixed two bugs in the hedgehog command:

* Hidden NPCs and players who can't resist the music will now come out of hiding when dancing.

* The punishment for singing the hedgehog song in Ankh-Morpork is fixed. You will now be contracted if you ignore the warnings given by the Musicians' Guild enforcers.
