Ptune-Up, posted on Mon Feb 27 08:02:40 2023 | Posted by: Kadath | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | Ptune Pturban in the Djelibeybi Bazaar has decided to expand her sartorial offerings and now sells bespoke hijabs as well as veils. Her custom veils have also undergone some changes, but this will only affect new veils ordered after this blog post goes live. Any existing veils that have previously been purchased from Ptune will be unaffected.
I've added a help file for hijabs (including the non-custom ones that are in the normal stock list) to indicate the options you have for wearing them.

After Careful Examination..., posted on Sun Feb 26 07:23:47 2023 | Posted by: Kadath | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | I've made a few more changes to the DJB Language School to address some long-standing bugs. The two most noticeable changes are as follows:
1) If your teacher finishes their shift, or you are forced to log off, during your final exam, then your exam paper will now remember who you are and which questions you have already answered. You can log off without penalty and return when your teacher is available to finish and hand in your exam. In addition, if you somehow manage to lose your exam pape...Read The Rest Of This Entry |
Cultural Exchanges, posted on Mon Feb 20 22:43:36 2023 | Posted by: Kadath | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | I've fixed a number of bugs and made a couple of adjustments in and around Djelibeybi. Some will have more of an impact on your day-to-day play than others, so I do suggest reading this one carefully.
- The language school textbooks should no longer have more than one word with the exact same Djelian translation, meaning players no longer have to guess which is the right word when given the translation and asked for the original word.
- Textbooks for learning the Klatchian language should...Read The Rest Of This Entry |
As The Sands Of Runtime Trickle Through, posted on Tue Nov 8 09:34:37 2022 | Posted by: Guildenstern | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | * Title changers now have a "check" command which will show you your current title with the colour codes.
* Water buffalo no longer spawn in the rainforest; gaurs spawn instead. Water buffalo are still available in the appropriate habitat.
* Flatulus and Aegadon have finally consented to be (respectfully) fingered.
* Alethelegeios now sells talkers in a much more obvious way.
* Benches in Ephebe no longer hide items placed on them.
* Tortoises will now accept gifts of lettuce.
* The clock i...Read The Rest Of This Entry |
Every God Has His Day, posted on Wed Apr 6 17:41:42 2022 | Posted by: Kadath | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | Chefet, the Dog-Headed God of Metalworking, has decreed that the doors to His temple are to be thrown open to the public. Visitors to this sacred place (conveniently located off Petulia Avenue, Ephebe) are invited to witness the masterful feats of metalworking conducted in His honour and to fill the temple coffers by purchasing one of the many exquisite items crafted by His faithful. Those who wish to try their hand at creating fine works of their own are welcome to make use of the forging faci... Read The Rest Of This Entry |
Major Sacrifice, posted on Wed May 6 12:02:28 2020 | Posted by: Capita | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | Divine shielding granted by the sacrificial altars in Ephebe was far more powerful than originally intended. These therefore no longer grant a shield as a reward if you already have one active. This means that while you can still receive an extremely powerful shield of the same strength as before, its duration will be limited. You cannot now stack major/minor shield on yourself and use a sacrifice to strengthen it. |
Knick-knacks, posted on Sat Nov 23 05:04:36 2019 | Posted by: Capita | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | A new shop has opened on the walkway below Dockside Walk in Ephebe. Rumours say that its proprietor, Niknax, has connections to the smugglers. |
Moving Out Of Your Ephebian Sublet., posted on Fri Jun 28 17:46:57 2019 | Posted by: Fran | Category: Klatch (domain pages) | If you have been allowed to access a house in Ephebe and then get your own house, your access will no longer be immediately revoked. The Tyrant now grants one week (round-world) for you to move your belongings out.
Enjoy! |
