(Answer) (Category) Discworld Faq-O-Matic : (Category) The Rules and How to Avoid Breaking Them :
Someone stole the money from the beggar I killed, how can I get it back?
Sadly, we do not have any rules against this kind of behaviour and therefore neither liaisons nor other creators can intervene for you.

However, there are some rules which are made by players and they may be able to help you. There are two groups of people who may sometimes make rules. These are the leaders of the guilds and the councils of various areas.

If someone is behaving badly, you could contact the leader of your guild or the leader of theirs to see if anything can be done. Most guilds will only intervene in serious cases or when someone has broken a specific rule.

Councils (see help citizenship ) may be helpful if they have rules against the behaviour you are unhappy about and it either happened to one of their citizens or it happened within the area they govern. To find out about this you should talk to a Magistrate (help magistrates). You can find a list of magistrates by finding the list in the council buildings of whichever council you want to contact, or by clicking on the 'rules' link under the player councils section of the website.

If all else fails, ignoring the player can be the most helpful thing to do. If you need to, you can use the ignore command to stop them sending you any tells. If they repeatedly behave badly towards you, you should make sure you record what happens and when, and you should talk to a liaison. Discworld does not tolerate harassment (see help harassment).
