How do I teach/learn things to/from other players?
You can teach things to and learn things from other players or yourself by using the teach command (read: syntax teach). The XP cost is based on the relevant skill bonus of you and your mentor/student, combined with the teaching bonus of the teacher in the relevant skill tree (faith, fighting, magic, etc.). In general, it pays to learn from people who have a skill and/or teaching bonus which exceeds yours by as much as possible, so if you have several teachers available to you it is useful to compare xp costs.

E.g.:
teach me 2 levels of faith.rituals.offensive.target from Mental

'Mental DeLaCroix offers to teach you 2 levels of faith.rituals.offensive.target for 13546 xp. Use "learn" to learn the skill.'

teach me 2 levels of faith.rituals.offensive.target from Kissaki

'Kissaki offers to teach you 2 levels of faith.rituals.offensive.target for 7845 xp. Use "learn" to learn the skill.'

learn fa.ri.of.ta from Kissaki

'Kissaki starts to teach you faith.rituals.offensive.target.'
