(Answer) (Category) Discworld Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Death and Associated Pain :
I fell in a river and now I cannot find my stuff.
The lands across Discworld are filled with interesting and exciting areas for young players. A lot of these areas are rivers, lakes, oceans, and other fun-filled water bodies. Learning to swim should be your primary concern before you attempt to journey through any of these areas.

To do so, advance your other.movement.swimming skill to level 25 in your guild. This should help you swim out of most situations without any items in your possession.

Moreover, should you find yourself in deep water, you can always drop your items and swim out of danger. Don't forget, you can always recover your belongings later or have someone assist you. If you feel that the 25 levels your guild offers aren't enough, then you can always learn more by having other players teach you.

Finally, should you find yourself struggling to recover your belongings, or simply don't have enough skills to get them yourself, there are always others who can help. Discworld is filled with many friendly and helpful players who may have the skills you need to recover your items. Dont ever hesitate to ask on your talker for help from either guild members or from anyone listening to the public channels such as channel one and two.

There are also players that have the skills to breathe underwater and are always looking for a reason to go swimming! These players are followers of one of the Discworld's many gods called Fish. You can always find who on line is a follower of Fish by typing 'who fish.'

Followers of Fish are often great swimmers and may be able to help you recover items or anythings else you have lost to the bottoms of the deep blue sea.
