Your items will all be on your corpse when you die - and you will be seperated in a cosmological mythological mystical quantum slicing of realities. As such, you will need to get yourself raised or resurrected, and hence get yourself a fleshy, corporeal body to retrieve the items back from your cold, still-lying corpse (it should be where you died).
Note: Corpses decompose - if yours does, your items will be left on the ground where your corpse decomposed. Anybody can take them then - so be sure to get resurrected and retrieve your items relatively quickly.
